A marketing agency built to run itself.
Cadabra is new, and we would rather say that than pretend otherwise. What we are not new at is building software, which turns out to be the thing that decides whether an agency spends its month on your marketing or on its own admin.
Most of what an agency charges for is not the work.
It is the assembling of the monthly report. The chasing of approvals across four email threads. The reconciling of hours. The hour somebody spends screenshotting a dashboard into a slide so that a client can look at a number that was already on a screen.
None of that makes your phone ring, and all of it is in your invoice. So we built the systems that do those jobs, pointed them at our own business first, and kept going until the overhead was mostly gone.
That is the whole idea, and everything else on this site follows from it. The dashboard is included because we were building it anyway. The reports are live because assembling them by hand was the thing we were trying to delete. The prices are published because a discovery call is a sales cost, and we would rather not have one to recover.
An agency that has automated its own admin can afford to charge you less and show you more.
It is an easy thing to claim, so the panel further down this page lists exactly which systems those are. Every row is something running in the Cadabra dashboard right now.
Four things we decided up front.
Written down partly so you can hold us to them, and partly so we do not quietly stop doing them when it gets inconvenient.
Automate our side before yours
Backups, uptime, task triage, reporting and invoicing all run themselves here. An agency that still does those by hand is charging you for the hours it takes, and it will always be too busy to do the work you actually hired it for.
You should be able to check
Every claim on this site is either something you can verify from the outside or something we show you the evidence for. There is no version of your account that only we can see, and no report that arrives once a month with everything pointing up.
Say the inconvenient part
If SEO will not fix your problem this quarter, we will say so. If your ad budget is too small to be worth running, we will say that too. Turning down work we can't do well is cheaper for everyone than doing it badly and explaining later.
Local businesses, actually local
We are in Des Moines and most of our work is for businesses within an hour of it. That means the Google Maps pack, the phone ringing, and a person who knows what a slow month in February looks like in Iowa.
The part you can check
Here is what we run on ourselves.
Every agency says it is automation-first. The only version of that claim worth anything is a list of the things you have actually stopped doing by hand, so here is ours.
It is also the answer to why the dashboard costs you nothing. You are being given access to the software we were always going to build for ourselves.
Cadabra internal ops
Example- Site backups and updates every client site, nightly Replaced a paid service
- Uptime monitoring maintenance-aware, every 5 minutes Replaced a paid service
- Task triage inbound work sorted and assigned Replaced an inbox sweep
- Client reporting assembled and sent Replaced a manual round-up
- Invoicing and unbilled hours reconciled weekly Replaced a spreadsheet
The dashboard your account lives in is the one we run the agency from. Every system listed is real; the run times are a snapshot, not a live feed.
Based in Des Moines, Iowa.
Most of our clients are within an hour of here, which is close enough to come and look at your shop floor when that is what the job needs. The work itself is remote-friendly, so if you are further out and the fit is right, that is fine too.
Ready when you are
Let’s make your marketing feel like magic.
Start with the audit. It reads your site the way Google and the AI assistants do, and tells you what is wrong with it. Free, about sixty seconds, and nobody has to call you.
