Terms of use
The rules for this website and the free audit. Paid work is governed by the agreement you sign, not by this page.

What this covers
These terms apply to cadabra.marketing and to the free website audit. Using either means you are fine with what is on this page.
They are not the contract for paid work. If you hire us, the scope, the price, the deliverables, the ownership and the way either side can end it are all in a written agreement we send you before anything starts. Where that agreement and this page disagree, the agreement wins.
The free audit
The audit is free, automated, and yours to keep regardless of whether you ever speak to us. Running one does not create any obligation on either side, and there is no sales sequence attached to it.
Two fair-use conditions:
- Audit sites you have a reason to audit. Your own, a client's, one you are about to buy. Each run costs us money in external APIs, so bulk or automated submissions get rate limited.
- The report is a starting point, not a certification. It reads one public page at one moment in time. It can be wrong, it can be out of date the next time you deploy, and it can't see anything behind a login. Do not treat it as a security assessment or a legal compliance check, because it is neither.
Report pages are unlisted rather than private. Anyone with the link can open one, so share the link only with people you want reading it. Ask us and we will delete yours.
Using this site
You are welcome to read, quote, link to and share anything here. Please do not:
- copy the site wholesale and present it as your own,
- scrape it at a volume that costs us money,
- try to break into anything, or use the audit form to point our infrastructure at somebody else's,
- or submit somebody else's personal details through our forms.
Our content, and yours
The writing, design, illustrations and code on this site belong to Cadabra. Quoting a paragraph with a link back is fine and always will be. Republishing whole pages is not.
Anything you send us stays yours. When you submit a domain for an audit or write to us through the contact form, you are giving us permission to use that information to do the thing you asked for, and nothing else. We do not claim ownership of your website, your brand, or your message.
If you hire us
The commercial terms live in your agreement, but they are not a surprise, because they are the same ones published on this site:
- You own your accounts. The website, the ad accounts, the list and the documentation, all in accounts in your name. Automations we build inside your own tools are yours as well. Automations that run in the Cadabra dashboard run for as long as you are a client, and we document them so they can be rebuilt elsewhere.
- Fixed price, agreed in writing first. If something is genuinely outside the scope, we tell you before we do it rather than afterwards on an invoice.
- Month to month once a build is delivered. No long contracts and no automatic multi-year renewals.
- The dashboard is included. There is no tier of it that costs extra.
Advertising budgets are paid by you to the advertising platform from an account in your name. We never mark up ad spend and never bill it through us.
What we do not promise
Nobody can guarantee a Google ranking, a traffic number or a volume of leads, and any agency that offers you one in writing is telling you something about itself. We will tell you what we are going to do, what it should achieve and how we will measure it, and then report honestly on what happened, including the parts that did not work.
The site and the audit are provided as they are. We try to keep both accurate and available, but we do not promise the site is never down or that every figure in a report is correct.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Cadabra is not liable for losses arising from your use of this website or of a free audit report, including decisions made on the strength of one. Liability for paid work is dealt with in your agreement.
Nothing here is meant to exclude anything that can't legally be excluded.
Changes
We may update this page. The date at the top says when it last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means the new version applies. Anything you have already signed is not affected by an edit here.
