The work

Named clients, and what we actually did.

Practices, nonprofits and a historic house, mostly here in Des Moines. Every screenshot below is a real page at the address under it, and every number came out of their own analytics rather than out of a marketing meeting.

Clients we work with

Before Cadabra, Seth ran marketing for Des Moines University and the MercyOne Foundation. Neither is a Cadabra client, and both are listed here as his history rather than ours.

Des Moines Mobile Medicine

In-home urgent care · launched from nothing

A new practice, live and findable in its first month.

Bradley Hill had a license, a plan and no business yet. We built the whole front of house: the site, the Google Business Profile, the analytics, and the tracking that tells him which of it produces a booked visit.

Every service he offers has a page, every page says what it costs, and the two actions that matter, booking and calling, are counted as conversions. Watching them fire is how we caught a misspelled booking event that had been quietly logging to nowhere since spring.

Greater Des Moines Supportive Housing

Nonprofit · 193 supportive homes in development

A launch that had to land at ten in the morning.

Two hotel conversions, 193 permanent supportive homes, and an announcement with an embargoed newspaper interview attached to it. The website, the press release, the social posts and the supporter email all had to go out at the same hour, in the same words.

Since then it is the ordinary work: the site, the campuses, social, email, and Google Ads running underneath.

New Life Counseling & Coaching

Faith-based counseling · four offices

A rebuild that puts the appointment first.

The old site opened on a video and buried the phone number. The new one answers the two questions somebody in a hard week actually has: which office is nearest, and how do I get an appointment.

The rebuild ships with an online store, an SEO program underway, and the Cadabra dashboard watching the site so a broken page is our problem before it is theirs.

Every figure above was read out of the client's own Google Analytics or Search Console on 17 September 2026, over the window named beside it. Where a number would have flattered us but could not be trusted, it is not here, and the entry says why.

Also on the books

Three more, in short.

Salisbury House & Gardens

Historic house museum and event venue

We did not build this site, we inherited it. What we brought was speed and honest measurement. The hero was a 24-megapixel image being sent to phones; the time the page spends frozen and unable to respond on mobile is down 75 percent since we took it on. We are not quoting a traffic number here, because two Google tags still fire on the same page and we will not publish a figure we cannot stand behind.

Whylie Eye Care Centers

Six optical locations across central Iowa

A Des Moines fixture with six locations and a website that had to make each one easy to find. We handled the design and the email marketing, and ran the paid search that filled their appointment book. The campaigns predate the analytics access we have today, so there is no number on this one, only the clinic noticing appointments drop whenever the ads went off.

Northeast Iowa Behavioral Health

Counseling and psychiatric care, six offices

Seventy years old, five counties, and a site that made a person in crisis hunt for a phone number. The refresh puts the crisis line in a rail that never leaves the screen, and the palette was rebuilt for contrast rather than taste. Twenty-one pages follow the homepage, against a recorded baseline of 509 search clicks in four weeks.

The part nobody photographs

Every one of these started the same way.

Before a word of copy or a dollar of ad spend, the measurement has to be right. Otherwise the rest of this page is a story instead of a record.

The Google stack, set up properly

Analytics 4, Tag Manager, Search Console and the Business Profile, connected to each other and verified firing, not ticked off a checklist.

Conversions defined before the spend

Bookings, form submissions and phone taps counted once each and checked live, so the platforms optimize toward customers instead of noise.

A baseline recorded in week one

Where traffic, rankings and speed stood before we touched anything, so everything after it can be compared to something real.

The dashboard, live from day one

Their data, our tasks, the approvals waiting on them and every invoice, in one place they can open whenever they like.

Also ours to show

We build software, not just websites.

The dashboard every client gets and the audit anybody can run are both ours, both running right now, and both the reason a small agency can carry this much work.

01 · The client dashboard

A portal every client gets, that we use ourselves.

Live analytics and search data, the tasks we are working on, the approvals waiting on you, your hours and your invoices. If your site runs on WordPress, the whole thing also appears inside your admin.

This month's work

  • Rewrite service page titles
  • Add schema to location pages
  • Google Business Profile refresh

02 · The website audit

A five-stage pipeline you can point at your own site.

It reads your homepage the way a crawler does, matches your Google Business Profile, runs a real mobile Lighthouse pass, inventories the tooling on the page, and hands the evidence to Claude to write the findings. Free, about a minute, no call.

Let’s make your marketing feel like magic.

Start with the audit. It reads your site the way Google and the AI assistants do, and tells you what is wrong with it. Free, about sixty seconds, and nobody has to call you.
